A Fantastic Morning or Afternoon ( evening Summer ) Tour

Cycle first in the direction of Quinta do Lago around the saltpans unchanged for hundreds of years.

Amazing wild life to be seen on route migrating birds, even the odd reptile relaxing in the sunshine.

Stopping for refreshments along the way.

Also passing close (100 meters) to the runway of Faro Airport a great place to see the planes come and go right in front of you.

Passing the old fisherman’s cottages, with the possibility of seeing along the way, the Hoopoe, or Chameleon and other local species.

Returning to Center Nautico on Faro Island, where you will find a lovely cafe/bar overlooking the beach on the RIA Formosa with a grassed area for the children to play as well as kayaks to play on.

 90% of the tour is off road on cycle paths
